Title IX Updates – Vector Solutions Courses

On January 9, 2025, a federal district court vacated a set of Title IX regulations and—at least for now—resolved the question of whether Title IX protects students from discrimination on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation.  According to the ruling, it does not.  In light of this, many school districts may have questions about Title IX training. APEI is aware that many members rely on courses from Vector Solutions to remain in compliance with Title IX training requirements. We have been notified by Vector Solutions that their legal editors have reviewed the Title IX ruling to identify necessary course revisions. When the new 2024 regulations took effect last year, Vector Solutions provided versions that aligned with both the 2020 and 2024 regulations for many courses. Based on their findings, specific courses have been updated. Vector Solutions will overwrite the 2024 course versions with new versions that reflect the 2020 regulations. This means the option to select between 2020 and 2024 versions will no longer be available, ensuring all learners access courses that align with current regulations. Please note that you will no longer see a year listed in the course titles.

You can find a document detailing the updated courses here. Vector Solutions provided this document to also address some anticipated questions you may have.
